New Delhi: In a reshuffle of Delhi Higher Judicial Service, 28 judges were transferred by the high court Monday.Special CBI judge Sushant Changotra, who was hearing a money laundering case linked to a land deal in Haryana’s Shikohpur involving businessman Robert Vadra, has been transferred to the southwest district courts in Dwarka, while additional sessions judge Shivali Bansal, earlier in the southwest district, has been posted as the CBI special judge.HC also transferred 10 judicial magistrates and ordered addition of 45 judicial officers to the district judiciary. Among those transferred is additional chief judicial magistrate Paras Dalal of Rouse Avenue Courts, who handled ED’s case against former chief minister Arvind Kejriwal for allegedly skipping summons in the excise policy case. Dalal had also dismissed a defamation case filed by AAP functionary Somnath Bharti’s wife against Union finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman.The transferred judges have been directed to notify cases in which they had reserved orders or judgments before relinquishing charge and pronounce them on the scheduled date or within two to three weeks of their transfer.
