YEIDA set to hire co to design its office near airport
The project is estimated to cost Rs 257 crore and is expected to be completed within 2.5 years

Noida: YEIDA has invited consultants to design Phase II of its proposed central office in Sector 18, near Noida International Airport. The office complex will be developed in two phases, with construction of Phase I set to begin soon.The proposed complex will comprise two basements, a lower ground floor, a ground floor, and five upper floors. Phase I, which has already been designed, will include the administrative building, parking, a bank, creche, library, gym, recreational areas, breakout spaces, a central green area, and rooftop solar panels.The office will come up on a 27,800-sqm plot. With a permissible ground coverage of 30%, Phase I will have about 5,257 sqm of ground coverage, while Phase II will use approximately 3,083 sqm. The total permissible ground coverage is 8,340 sqm.Phase II will house an integrated command and control centre, monitoring and control systems, a video wall, server and equipment rooms, and operator workstations. It will also have a police intervention centre.“Phase II will also house a 1,200-seat auditorium, along with a stage, backstage and green rooms, audio-visual systems and other supporting facilities,” said GM (projects) Rajendra Singh Bhati.The consultant will undertake planning, architectural and structural design, services design, detailed drawings, among other works. The authority has also envisaged sustainable features such as energy efficiency, water reuse, and rainwater harvesting, with the design aimed at achieving green-building standards.The project is estimated to cost Rs 257 crore and is expected to be completed within 2.5 years.YEIDA will also appoint a project management consultant (PMC) to oversee construction of both phases, from mobilisation and commencement of work to testing, commissioning, and handover. The PMC will be responsible for construction supervision, monitoring physical and financial progress, quality control, safety compliance, billing and cost verification, etc. The last date for submitting an application is Sept 1, while bids will be opened on Sept 3.YEIDA currently operates from its office in Greater Noida’s Sector Omega 1. With Noida International Airport beginning commercial operations in June, the new office is expected to improve administrative efficiency, provide better access for stakeholders, and facilitate faster coordination for development in the rapidly expanding airport region.
