Amritsar: A minor boy has been apprehended in connection with the death of his mother in Amritsar district, police said on Thursday.According to police, the woman was found dead at her residence, and preliminary suspicion is that she may have been strangled. The exact cause of death will be confirmed after the post-mortem examination.Family members alleged that the boy, along with a relative, was involved in the incident and cited an ongoing dispute over compensation received after the death of the woman’s husband, an Army personnel, a few years ago.
