Jaipur: State Election Commission (SEC), Rajasthan, Thursday directed officials to set up Voter Assistance Booths at every polling building during the upcoming Panchayati Raj elections to help voters locate their polling station and voter serial number.Booth Level Officer-level personnel will man the booths and use electoral rolls to guide voters to their designated polling stations and provide their serial numbers.In an order issued Thursday, SEC said several polling buildings have multiple polling stations, particularly in densely populated areas. Changes in ward boundaries following delimitation may also alter polling station locations, potentially causing confusion and overcrowding on polling day.
