Lucknow: The Physical Efficiency Test (PET) for candidates shortlisted in the UP Home Guards Enrolment-2025 recruitment process will begin from Sept 8, 2026, with the UP Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) releasing the PET admit cards on its official website.The PET marks the next stage of the recruitment process after Document Verification (DV) and Physical Standard Test (PST). Candidates who have qualified the DV/PST stage can download their PET admit cards by logging in with their registration number and date of birth.The board has advised candidates to download their admit cards in advance and carefully verify details such as the test date, venue and instructions before appearing for the examination.The recruitment drive is being conducted to fill 41,424 Home Guards posts across the state. The board had shortlisted 1,07,221 candidates, around 2.6 times the number of vacancies, for DV and PST following the written examination.
