Margao: Police sub-inspectors Sanket Naik and Gaurav Naik were suspended from duty on Friday in connection with the assault on a group of persons at the Maina-Curtorim police station earlier this week.Three police constables – Chetan Koli, Samir Sudhir, and Pundalik Parit – were already suspended earlier in the case pending inquiry.The incident is learnt to have been connected to a fight involving two groups at Ramnagari, Curtorim. The police apprehended four or five persons and brought them to the police station. The culprits were allegedly assaulted by the police inside the police station.
