Pune: Three youngsters, including two minors, damaged 18 vehicles, including cars in Sahakarnagar, and two PMPML buses in Parvati area around 5am on Saturday.All the suspects are residents of Dhankawdi. Senior inspector Rahul Khilare, inspector Avinash Mane and police constable Shankar Kumbhar of the city crime branch examined CCTV footage from the area and nabbed a youngster, Soham Harish Chavan (20), later on Saturday.According to the police, the suspects visited the old parts of the city. They were heading towards Dhankawdi on two different two-wheelers. On their way, they first damaged two PMPML buses parked on the Pune-Satara Road near Parvati and went ahead to damage cars, autorickshaws and two-wheelers.They used stones to damage the windshields of cars, buses and autorickshaws.Khilare said, “The arrested suspect was unemployed, and his two minor accomplices did not have any particular reason to damage the vehicles parked on public roads. They just damaged them while travelling back to their homes.”A case of mischief and vandalism has been registered against them at the Sahakarnagar police station.
