Pune: Three men riding a motorcycle allegedly snatched an Army captain’s cellphone near Wakad bridge in the early hours of Sunday. The incident occurred while the officer was speaking to his wife, who was travelling from Karnataka to Pune. He had gone to pick her up.A robbery case was registered at the Hinjewadi police station.According to a police officer, the complainant was waiting along the Katraj-Dehu Road Bypass near Wakad bridge around 5am on Sunday.“While he was talking to his wife on his cellphone, three men on a motorcycle snatched the handset, valued at Rs 15,000, and fled towards Pune,” the officer said.He said the complainant provided a detailed description of the suspects. “Our investigation is underway,” he added.
