Chandigarh: Traffic movement will be regulated on two major road stretches in Chandigarh Friday due to Janmashtami celebrations, the traffic police said.The restrictions will be in force from 12 noon on Sept 4 till 1am on Sept 5.Around the ISKCON Temple in Sector 36, traffic will be regulated on Dakshin Marg between Kisan Bhawan Chowk (Sector 22/23-35/36) and Batra Chowk (Sector 23/24-36/37).In Sector 20, traffic restrictions will be in place between the Sector 20/21 light point and the Sector 20/30 light point.The traffic police have advised commuters to use alternative routes, plan their journeys in advance and cooperate with personnel deployed on the ground to avoid delays.
