Noida: Three people were killed in separate road accidents in Dadri and Rabupura areas of Gautam Budh Nagar Tuesday, while three others sustained injuries, police said.In the first incident, 18-year-old Karan, was travelling with two friends, aged 16 and 17 years old, on a scooter on Tuesday evening when they were allegedly struck by a Brezza car near the bridge at Ajaibpur village. All three were thrown off the two-wheeler and Karan came under the wheels of a truck approaching from behind. Karan was killed on the spot while his friends sustained injuries and were taken to a hospital. Police said the truck driver was arrested, and a case was registered at Dadri police station.In the second accident, a driver’s aide in a concrete mixer was killed after the truck veered off the road and plunged into a canal in Rabupura late Tuesday.According to police, an NCR concrete truck was travelling towards Sector 32 when it lost control near a culvert over the Karauli canal and keeled over. It was carrying driver Amjad, and an aide Shivdesh. Police and fire brigade personnel reached the spot and pulled both out of the truck. Amjad suffered minor injuries while Shivdesh was found unconscious. He was taken to a hospital in Greater Noida where he died. Rabupura police said the body was handed over for post-mortem.In another incident, a 25-year-old police constable was injured after a car driven by a woman collided head-on with his motorcycle in Greater Noida’s Knowledge Park area Wednesday.The injured constable, Mohit Kumar, is with the traffic department. Police said the accident occurred in the afternoon when Kumar was travelling towards Sharda Roundabout on a single-lane road.Kumar suffered grievous injuries and was taken to a hospital. His condition was stated to be stable. Police said no case had been registered in connection with the incident till Wednesday night.
