Hisar: A local court has sentenced three men to 20 years in prison for raping a minor girl. The survivor was related to one of the convicts.The court imposed a fine of Rs 70,000 on the convict who was related to the survivor and Rs 60,000 each on the other two.The case dates back to 2021. The survivor, who was 15 at the time, said that on Oct 18, one of the convicts lured her to a hotel on the pretext of taking her to see a temple. She said he spiked her cold drink, after which she fell unconscious and he raped her. He later put her on a bus bound for Hisar, she said.Instead of going home, the survivor said she called her brother-in-law, who also took her to a hotel and raped her. In the evening, he called his friend, who took her to another hotel and raped her.The girl said she was dropped off at the bus stand around 7am the next morning. She borrowed a phone from a woman and informed her parents about the ordeal.
