Bengaluru: Police are looking for a tender coconut seller who allegedly attacked a barking street dog with his sickle in KR Pura.An FIR has been registered against the unidentified trader under BNS Section 352 (intentional insult with intent to provoke a breach of peace) and Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act.Police said the incident took place at Muniyappa Layout, KR Pura II Stage, around 8.30am on April 25.The video showed the tender coconut seller walking into the compound of a house with a sickle in hand. When house owner Siddalingappa questioned him, he claimed the stray dog barked at him for no reason. Siddalingappa tried to pacify the man but he went ahead and hit the dog with his sickle, an investigating officer said.The dog, frequently fed by Siddalingappa, would sleep inside the his house compound.
