Kolkata: Ahead of his scheduled administrative meeting at Diamond Harbour, CM Suvendu Adhikari on Saturday met actor Mithun Chakraborty at his New Town residence. Coming out of his house, Adhikari said, “Mithunda had sought some time to meet me. He is a party senior who has campaigned selflessly. I have come to meet him.“Chakraborty, who had extensively campaigned for the BJP ahead of the polls, said: “Bengal cannot get a better CM than him (Adhikari) and I can guarantee that. He has started working since the day was sworn in as the CM. I am proud of him.”
