Shimla: Himachal Pradesh chief minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said on Wednesday that moral education would be introduced in Himachal Pradesh schools from the next academic session.During an interaction with students of a CBSE school in Kaza, Sukhu said the syllabus was being prepared for the subject. He also encouraged students to work hard, set goals and strive for success.The students thanked the CM for the CBSE affiliation, saying it would improve educational opportunities in remote Spiti. They informed Sukhu that 85 students were enrolled in the school, including 46 girls living in the hostel, and highlighted shortages of a cook, cleaning staff and a woman warden.The CM announced separate hostels for boys and girls, a residential block for teachers and funds to improve school infrastructure. He assured students that cold classrooms and inadequate lighting would be addressed, with upgrades targeted for completion by the next academic session.
