Shillong: Hearings for claims and objections under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) in 14 East Khasi Hills assembly constituencies resumed on August 31 after earlier disruption due to law and order issues in Shillong. The revision has been extended by 14 days to allow electors to participate. EROs and AEROs have restarted notices and hearings. Voters should contact BLOs for revised dates. Final roll publishes Oct 21; claims close September 18; disposal by October 17, 2026.
