GURGAON: The Haryana government on Saturday carried out a major reshuffle of IPS officers, appointing 1999-batch IPS officer Sibash Kabiraj as the new Commissioner of Police, Gurgaon.Kabiraj, who was serving as Commissioner of Police, Panchkula, with additional charge of ADGP/Cyber and director, State Crime Branch headquarters, Panchkula, replaces Vikas Arora as Gurgaon police commissioner.Vikas Arora, a 1998-batch IPS officer, has been posted as ADGP/Administration at the police headquarters in Panchkula.The reshuffle also brought changes in Gurgaon-linked postings. Senior IPS officer Charu Bali, a 1995-batch officer, who was serving as ADGP/RTC Bhondsi, Gurgaon, with additional charge of Bhondsi Police Complex, Gurgaon, and SV & ACB headquarters, Panchkula, has now been posted as ADGP, Bhondsi Police Complex, Gurgaon.Dr Matta Ravi Kiran, ADGP/Karnal Range, Karnal, has been posted as ADGP, SV & ACB (H), relieving Charu Bali of the additional charge.Naazneen Bhasin, IG, South Range, Rewari, who was also holding additional charge of IGP/RTC Bhondsi, has been given dual charge as IGP/HAP, Madhuban, Karnal, and IGP/RTC, Bhondsi.Among other Gurgaon-related postings, 2021-batch IPS officer Aditi Singh, who was awaiting posting, has been appointed SP, SV & ACB (H), GGM, replacing Poonam, HPS
