Shabbir accuses BRS of broken job promises

Hyderabad: Govt advisor Mohammed Ali Shabbir on Monday hit back at BRS working president KT Rama Rao, reminding him that the BRS had come to power promising a govt job for every family but later backed away from the assurance.Rejecting KTR’s claim that the nearly 70,000 govt jobs filled by the Congress govt were based on notifications issued during the former BRS regime, Shabbir asked why the previous govt had failed to complete recruitments during its 10-year rule.He alleged that delayed notifications and the TGPSC Group-I paper leak had shattered the confidence of lakhs of unemployed youth. Shabbir also questioned the fate of the unemployment allowance promised by the BRS.He said the Revanth Reddy govt revived the recruitment process, resolved pending issues and issued appointment orders to thousands of candidates.
