Ahmedabad: Seven flights were delayed at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International (SVPI) Airport on Monday due to weather, operational issues, and rotational delays.The delayed flights included arrivals from Abu Dhabi (UAE), Dubai (UAE), Jalgaon, Chandigarh and Lucknow. Departures to Goa and Delhi were also delayed.No flight cancellations were reported.Rain and bad weather in parts of the country along with operational issues and rotational delays affected flight schedules, airport sources said.Rotational delays occur when a delay on an earlier sector affects the aircraft’s subsequent flights. Airport operations continued through the day normally despite the delays.
