Ahmedabad: The state unit of the Congress party said that “mismanagement and insufficient information” provided by the State Election Commission (SEC) caused inconvenience to voters, and many could not cast their vote as the location of polling stations was changed overnight.State Congress media convener Manish Doshi said that voters could not access details of their polling stations online, as the SEC website was operating very slowly. “Additionally, last-minute changes in the location of polling centres created a situation where many voters could not exercise their voting rights, leading to chaos,” Doshi said. Doshi said that the website link provided by the SEC did not provide information about the specific polling station where they were supposed to vote. “Strict action should be taken against those responsible for depriving voters of their rights by providing incomplete information,” he said.
