Navi Mumbai: The state govt has formally notified to hand over 22,334 sq m plot to the Matheran Hill Station Municipal Council free of cost for developing a parking lot.A multilayer parking lot can be developed to accommodate more cars of the tourists, easing their inconvenience. The plot is located close to Dasturi Naka. The civic body has been a parking space shortage and has been demanding the plot since 2007. State revenue minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule announced the decision while speaking to the media.
