New Delhi: CBI has arrested three people, including a Public Works Department assistant engineer, in an alleged bribery case involving a govt contractor.The accused have been identified as PWD assistant engineer Roop Singh Meena, construction company representative Sanjay Kaura and company employee Vikram Kumar.CBI registered the case Monday following allegations that Meena had favoured the govt contractor in various projects in return for bribes. Kumar allegedly delivered Rs 21 lakh to Meena’s Pitampura residence Monday on Kaura’s instructions. CBI claimed to have recovered the money. Another Rs 15.5 lakh and incriminating documents were also seized, it claimed, adding Rs 46.8 lakh and incriminating papers were found at Kaura’s house.
