Fazilka: A clash broke out between a police team and locals during a land dispute in Fazilka on Sunday, with personnel allegedly manhandled and a video of the incident going viral. Police said at least eight people have been booked in the case, including four named accused. Two have been arrested so far, while efforts are on to nab the remaining suspects.Khui Khera SHO Pargat Singh said the police received information about a dispute over a three-kanal plot in Muradwala Bhomgarh village between two related parties.A team reached the spot and initially pacified the situation. A tractor present at the site was also removed. One party had accused the other of encroachment, which led to the tension. Police counselled both sides, stating that such matters must be resolved legally.However, as the team was leaving, members of one group allegedly surrounded the personnel and got into an argument, which soon turned into a scuffle.
