Dr Satbir Singh Gosal, Vice-Chancellor, PAU, will inaugurate the show on February 26, while the prize distribution function will be held on February 27.Dr Parminder Singh, Head, Department of Floriculture and Landscaping, PAU, informed that the flower show helped creating awareness regarding flower growing and conservation. The competition will be open to individuals, hobbyists, private institutions, amateurs, government and semi-government institutions and nurseries, he said. There will be 10 different classes of fresh and dry flower arrangements, seasonal flowers, foliage plants, cacti, succulents, ferns and bonsai in the competition, he added.Dr Singh invited all the flower lovers to participate in the competition.
