Biker brought dead after NH-17 crash; truck driver arrested
Dhubri: One person died on the spot after a speeding goods-laden truck collided head-on with a motorcycle on NH-17 at Hakama in Dhubri district on Tuesday morning.A Bilasipara traffic police team reached the spot and shifted the motorcycle riders to Bilasipara Model Hospital, where doctors declared one of them brought dead.The body was later sent to Dhubri Medical College and Hospital for post-mortem.Police arrested the truck driver and seized the vehicle, sources said.
