Dimapur: The Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) on Sunday said the Kuki-Zo Council’s recent statement was a blatant attempt to divert attention from what it described as the abduction, torture and killing of six Naga civilians whose families continue to await for justice.In a release, the NSF said it was disturbed by the use of the term ‘Kacha Naga’ to refer to Nagas, calling it divisive and derogatory. “It is outrageous that organisations representing the Kuki-Zo community should seek to classify or redefine the identity of the indigenous Naga populace,” the federation said.
