Varanasi: Amid construction work at a rapid pace on the left-hand-side of the Ganga bridge, traffic on carriageways of Varanasi Ring Road, Phase-II,Package-II in Sandaha–Revasa section will remain closed for general public daily from 8 pm to 8 am till Sep 30, said officials of National Highway Authority of India.In order to complete the work safely and within the stipulated time, the right-hand-side carriageway is being used for movement of heavy construction machinery, equipment and material, hence safe operation of normal traffic along the worksite is not possible.All vehicle drivers and general public are advised not to use alternative routes designated by the district administration and traffic police to reach their destinations, and follow instructions issued by officers deployed at the project site.
