Surat: A 30-year-old real estate broker was arrested from his Navi Mumbai apartment for allegedly sending obscene videos of himself to several female physiotherapists in Surat and seeking treatment for pain.Surat cybercrime police arrested Tushar Vaskar after a female physiotherapist approached them with a complaint. Police said Vaskar had allegedly exposed himself in the videos and sent them to multiple women.DCP (Cybercrime) Bishakha Jain said police traced Vaskar’s location to Navi Mumbai and arrested him from his apartment. “He had suffered an accident a few months ago and had undergone physiotherapy. We identified him through a tattoo visible in the video. He had sent such videos to several female physiotherapists. We are investigating whether he is involved in any other offences,” she said.Police said Vaskar earned a substantial income by renting out properties owned by his father.Investigators are also looking into whether a failed relationship had anything to do with his behaviour. According to police sources, Vaskar had recently broken up with his girlfriend after she allegedly stopped responding to him and began a relationship with another man. Police are examining whether he targeted women as a form of revenge.During the raid, police found Vaskar’s apartment in an extremely unhygienic condition, with hardly any space to sit. Investigators said he would order food online but leave used plates and packaging lying around. He allegedly rarely washed his clothes and would instead buy new ones after wearing them for a few days.Police also found a criminal procedure law book at his residence and are examining whether it has any relevance to the case.
