Gurgaon: Rain activity in the city is likely to remain limited over the next few days, with India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasting showers at a few places over the next four days.The city recorded a maximum temperature of 33.1 degrees Celsius on Monday at the KVK automatic weather station, down from 34.3 degrees Celsius on Sunday. The minimum temperature, however, rose to 27.6 degrees Celsius from 25.7 degrees Celsius on Sunday, according to IMD data.Gurgaon recorded 1mm rainfall in the 24 hours ending at 8.30am on Monday at the KVK station.The district-wise forecast issued by IMD indicates rain at a few places in Gurgaon on Aug 11, 12, 13 and 14. The spatial spread of rainfall is expected to remain limited, with no indication of widespread showers over the district.IMD’s district-wise weather warning chart also does not show a heavy-rain warning for Gurgaon over the coming days. The warnings issued for parts of Haryana are mainly concentrated in other districts, including Panchkula, Yamunanagar, Kurukshetra, Karnal, Panipat and Sonipat.The forecast suggests a continued but relatively limited monsoon spell in Gurgaon. Showers may occur in parts of the district, but rainfall activity is expected to remain restricted through the week.
