Gandhinagar: With parts of Gujarat facing water scarcity following deficient rainfall, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday appealed to people to use water and electricity judiciously, recalling how collective efforts had helped the state overcome severe shortages about 25 years ago.Referring to the acute water and power crisis that Gujarat faced two decades ago, Modi said public participation in conserving resources had helped bring about a significant change. He urged people to revive the same spirit of cooperation to tackle the current situation.“I will say the same thing to you again today, that we have to save water and electricity,” he said.
