Kalyan: MNS workers allegedly assaulted a deputy station master at Kalyan station on Monday after a junior woman staffer accused him of repeatedly sending her obscene messages and harassing her for nearly six months.Kalyan GRP later took the man into custody, registered a case against him based on the woman’s complaint and initiated a probe.According to the complaint, the man repeatedly sent WhatsApp messages to the woman and asked her to visit him at his home. The woman initially ignored the messages, but the alleged harassment continued, following which she reportedly complained to the station master at least twice. The station master allegedly reprimanded the man in the complainant’s presence but the harassment did not stop. Frustrated, the woman approached MNS functionaries.MNS workers accompanied her to the man’s office, confronted him with the WhatsApp messages and then allegedly assaulted him.
