Gorakhpur: Mahayogi Gorakhnath University (MGUG) NCC cadet Nancy Srivastava has been selected for the prestigious Super SSB-55 Training Camp, a specialised programme that prepares outstanding NCC cadets for the Services Selection Board (SSB) process and a career as commissioned officers in the Indian Armed Forces, the university said on Tuesday.The Super SSB-55 Training Camp will be held in Prayagraj from Aug 11 to 20 and will bring together some of the best NCC cadets selected from across Uttar Pradesh.During the camp, participants will undergo intensive training focused on leadership development, personality enhancement, communication skills, and the officer-like qualities required for selection into the defence services through the Services Selection Board (SSB).Congratulating Nancy on her selection, Lieutenant Colonel Mithun Mishra, commanding officer of the 102 UP Battalion NCC, said participation in the Super SSB-55 camp is a significant milestone for cadets aspiring to become commissioned officers in the Indian Army. He expressed confidence that the training would help her perform well in future SSB assessments.
