Chennai: A 25-year-old man was found dead with a head injury at a vacant plot near Bhavani Amman Temple in Thandalam on Saturday morning. Police arrested three suspects, while the fourth is on the runPolice said V Vignesh, alias Vicky, of Sirukalathur, had a quarrel with his friends, who assaulted him with stones. On hearing screams, a resident of the area rushed to find Vignesh lying with a head injury and four people fleeing. She alerted Kundrathur police, who took Vignesh to a govt hospital in Tambaram. Doctors declared him brought dead and sent his body to Chengalpet Government Hospital for postmortem.Based on a complaint from Vignesh’s father, Kundrathur police registered a case and arrested three suspects.
