Chennai: A 29-year-old employee of a private IT company at Manapakkam was arrested by Nandambakkam police on Friday for downloading photos and videos of his female colleagues from a social networking site, digitally altering them to create obscene images and storing them on his laptop. Police seized two laptops and a phone used in the offence.Police said the incident came to light after a 26-year-old woman from Porur lodged a complaint at the Nandambakkam police station. Police registered a case under the Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act and the Information Technology Act. A special team questioned the man and examined his laptops and seized the photos. He has been remanded in judicial custody.
