Bengaluru: A resident of an apartment in RT Nagar has been booked for allegedly abusing and hindering census officials earlier this week.According to the complaint filed by a census officer from Bengaluru North City Corporation, the incident occurred on April 20 at an apartment complex in Ganesha Block, RT Nagar, during enumeration work. The FIR was registered Saturday at RT Nagar police station.The officer alleged that the resident used abusive language and interfered with the govt work. Based on the complaint, police filed an FIR under BNS sections, including for obstruction of public servants and misconduct with them during official work.Police said they had initiated investigation and further action will be taken based on the findings.
