Mahayuti govt does not listen unless citizens resort to agitations: Supriya
Supriya Sule accused the state govt of failing to provide basic infrastructure and remarked that common citizens are forced to agitate for every issue just to draw the govt’s attention

Pune: NCP (SP) working president Supriya Sule on Tuesday criticised the Mahayuti govt, stating that the administration does not listen to common citizens unless they resort to agitations.Sule visited the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) to discuss civic issues in areas under the Baramati Lok Sabha constituency. She accused the state govt of failing to provide basic infrastructure and remarked that common citizens are forced to agitate for every issue just to draw the govt’s attention.“Be it the agitations by students, doctors, and farmers, or even the protests by common citizens in Pune against noise pollution, the Mahayuti govt makes no effort to resolve people’s issues unless they take to the streets,” Sule said. The Baramati MP also targeted the state govt over recent paper leak incidents. She said, “Under the Mahayuti government, paper leaks are happening on a regular basis. Examinations are held all over the world without such leaks. However, here we are seeing papers being leaked even at the district and tehsil levels.”Amid the ongoing debate in Pune over the use of DJs and loudspeakers during festivals, Sule demanded that the chief minister make his stand clear on the issue. “The chief minister was in Pune on Monday, where he spoke vaguely on the matter. He should give a straightforward answer on whether DJs will be allowed or not,” she said.
