Varanasi: The magisterial probe into the case of killing of a BSc second-year student, Surya Pratap Singh, by his classmate on the college campus on March 20, was started by the Additional District Magistrate (Administration) on Tuesday.District Magistrate Satyendra Kumar ordered a magisterial inquiry into the case by designation ADM (Administration) as magistrate to conduct it. Inquiry Officer and ADM (Administration) Bipin Kumar on Tuesday said that if any individual has information regarding the matter and wishes to present evidence/documents, they may appear in person at his court or office at the Collectorate. The evidence and proof can be submitted in written or oral form until April 30.The brutal murder of Surya Pratap Singh Surya within the campus of Uday Pratap College caused widespread outrage among students and student union office-bearers. A group of students on Tuesday staged a sit-in and wrote a letter with blood to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, seeking justice for him.
