Kullu: The Meteorological Centre, Shimla, has forecast light rain at isolated places and light snowfall in the higher reaches of Himachal Pradesh on Oct 24.A fresh western disturbance is the reason behind the prediction of the weather change.According to the forecast, light rain or snow is likely at isolated places in Chamba, Kangra, Kullu, Kinnaur and Lahaul-Spiti on Oct 24 and 25. Mandi and Shimla may receive light rain on Oct 24. The weather is likely to remain dry in Una, Bilaspur, Hamirpur, Solan and Sirmaur.Minimum temperatures are expected to rise gradually by 2°C-3°C over many parts of the state during the next 48 hours, before dropping by 2°C-4°C over the following two-three days. Maximum temperatures are also likely to fall by 2°C-5°C after 48 hours.Weather will remain dry from Oct 26 to 28.
