Hisar: A man allegedly bludgeoned his 61-year-old father to death with a wooden stick following an argument at their rented house in the Old Tehsil area of Fatehabad on Tuesday, police said.The accused, Vijay, 34, was under mental distress and frequently quarrelled with his father, Dharampal, and others over minor issues, family members said. His elder brother, Satish, said Vijay repeatedly struck Dharampal with a wooden stick lying in the house.Dharampal was taken to the civil hospital, where doctors declared him dead. Vijay is absconding.Police collected evidence and are probing the circumstances surrounding the incident.
