Rajkot: Kamlabaug police in Porbandar arrested two lawers for allegedly stealing computers from the mediation centre at the Porbandar district and sessions court and recovered the stolen property, valued at Rs 1.17 lakhRachit Desai, a bench clerk serving at the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), lodged a complaint for the theft on Friday. According to the FIR, two all-in-one computer sets, along with keyboards and mice, had been shifted on Sept 16 to the court’s mediation centre by a peon. On Thursday, staff discovered that both computers were missing.During the probe, a surveillance team led by police sub-inspector J S Humbal received intelligence about the theft. Acting on the tip-off, the police team nabbed the two suspects within hours and recovered the stolen computers.The arrested individuals have been identified as Sagar Shingrakhiya (33) and Abhishek Salet (30).
