JP Nagar road made one-way to clear flyover jam

Bengaluru: Traffic police have converted a crucial stretch of 11th A Main Road in JP Nagar into a one-way street to end gridlocks at the exit of the recently opened double-decker flyover. The move aims to streamline heavy influx of vehicles during peak hours. Prior to this modification, 11th A Main operated as a bi-directional road, leading to massive traffic snarls. Innumerable vehicles attempting to travel towards the flyover would clash with descending traffic, locking up the intersection. When motorists reach the end of JP Nagar double-decker flyover, the road splits into two primary arteries: 11th A Main and 11th B Main. The new rules alter how these roads operate:11th A Main (one-way): Traffic is now strictly restricted to a single direction on a 90-metre stretch starting from 46th Cross intersectionFlyover exit rules: Only vehicles coming down from the flyover are permitted to enter this specific section of 11th A MainNo-entry: Motorists can no longer enter 11th A Main from the opposite direction to head towards the flyover11th B Main (unchanged): Bi-directional vehicular movement remains unaffected on this parallel road
