Times News NetworkAjmer: Civil Lines police Friday morning arrested Vishnu Jat from high-security jail on court production warrant. Vishnu is charged with murdering dacoit Jagan Gurjar in the central jail. The arrest came a day after a five-member medical board confirmed that Jagan died due to strangulation. Police will now re-create the scene to prove Vishnu is guilty.After the arrest, police took Vishnu to Civil Lines police station. They will seek remand Saturday. A team of police at 10.30 am Friday arrested Vishnu from high-security jail, and under heavy police security he was taken to the police station.Meanwhile, the jail guard who was on duty on June 29, in his statement said, “There were two guards on duty, however, we heard nothing from the cell.“ But police, through other sources found that the guards were listening to a radio while on duty. At 3pm on opening the cell the guards found Jagan alone in an unconscious state.
