India least hit by West Asia war because of NDA’s strong policies: MoS Mohol

Pune: Minister of state for civil aviation Murlidhar Mohol on Monday claimed that while the entire world was impacted owing to the war in West Asia, India was least affected because of the policies adopted by the NDA govt.He presented a report card of 12 years of the govt and claimed that the economy was stronger under Modi’s leadership.Amid the surge in fuel prices, Mohol said, “The world is facing a crisis due to the war in West Asia. Prices of fuel, gas and other commodities have increased in almost all the countries. However, the situation in India is better in comparison to the other countries.”The minister said fuel prices in South Africa, Brazil, Australia, Germany have skyrocketed. “Our govt has managed to keep the prices under control by implementing people-centric policies,” he added. The newly floated Cockroach Janta Party and its supporters have planned a protest demanding the resignation of Union education minister Dharmendra Pradhan, Mohol said there is no need to take it seriously.“Modi govt has worked for 12 years keeping development as its focus. There would be some areas where improvement is needed and our govt will work in that direction,” he said.Mohol said efforts are needed in reducing crime in the city. “The Pune police commissioner has presented a comparative data of the crimes in Pune but it does not mean that no crime is happening in the city. Being an elected representative, I am answerable to the people of the city and we will take measures to maintain law and order,” the Pune MP said.
