Trinamool on Sunday alleged that Mamata Banerjee and Abhishek Banerjee are being “forcibly confined” in their Kalighat home by cops to prevent them from meeting the parents of the Baruipur victim. Trinamool MPs Derek O’Brien and Mahua Moitra shared photographs of police patrolling near her home. Police did not issue any statement on this. Mamata later spoke to the victim’s father on the phone.
