Noida: A 19-year-old woman working as a security guard at a private college girls’ hostel in Knowledge Park died on Saturday after allegedly falling from the building. She was a resident of a village in Meerut district.Police were alerted and rushed her to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared her dead on arrival.A senior officer said preliminary findings suggest the incident may be linked to a family dispute between the woman and her husband. “Initial findings indicate the matter appears related to a family conflict. However, all possible angles are being examined, and exact circumstances will be established after a thorough investigation,” the officer said.Police questioned relatives, inspected the hostel premises and collected statements from individuals who had interacted with her before the incident. Forensic evidence and material recovered from the scene are being examined.The body was sent for autopsy. Further action will be taken based on investigation findings and any complaint received from the family.
