Lubana has alleged a larger conspiracy involving gangsters Goldy Brar and Rohit Godara. It further alleges that on the intervening night of June 3 and 4, two motorcycle-borne assailants fired around 18 rounds in Sector 5, Panchkula. Lubana sustained two firearm injuries, while his companion Lalit was also injured. An FIR was registered on June 4.The petitioner has alleged that threats and extortion demands continued after the firing.
