Amritsar: “Harassed” by his wife and in-laws, a man allegedly ended his life here. Before taking the extreme step, Tajinder Singh recorded a video and posted it on social media, holding his wife and in-laws responsible for his death.Crying in the video, Tajinder could be heard saying he was ending his life because he was distressed due to his in-laws’ family.Tajinder’s younger brother, Kulwinder Singh, told the mediapersons that they were informed about his suicide by the in-laws’ neighbours. He claimed that Tajinder’s in-laws had been absconding since the incident.Tajinder has two children – a boy and a girl.Kulwinder alleged that his elder brother was harassed by his wife and in-laws. He said Tajinder repeatedly shared his grievances with the in-laws, but the entire family continued to harass him instead of counselling their daughter.Police have initiated a probe into the incident.
