Gay kills live-in partner over dispute of dish washing

Varanasi: Live-in relationship of two gay partners ended on bloody note as on returning home on Monday night in inebriated state the duo quarreled in a dispute of dish washing. During this clash Kush Pandey, who spoke by posing him as woman, stabbed his live-in partner identified as Dipanshu Rai alias Lucky to death.After taking stock of the incident site ACP Bhelupur Gaurav Kumar on Tuesday said during initial investigation of police it came to light that Kush and Dipanshu, aged between 26 and 30, were living together in a rental room for past one year. Both spent most of their time at Harishchandra Ghat. Both had returned their room after consuming liquor on Monday at 10.30 pm. A dispute broke out between them over cooking food and washing utensils. During this, Dipanshu was stabbed in the stomach with a vegetable knife by Kush.”When police reached the spot on getting information of quarrel Dipanshu initially misled cops by posing him as wife of Dipanshu. But when police entered the room Dipansu was found lying in a pool of blood. Police rushed him to Trauma Centre of BHU where doctors declared him dead. ACP said that Kush was arrested and body of Dipanshu was sent for postmortem.During questioning Kush divulged that he and Dipanshu were in contact with each other for a long time and that he also claimed to have married in a temple. They lived in this house like husband and wife and after consuming alcohol, the two often had arguments and fights.
