Dimapur: A five-member French delegation led by Marc Boudin, director of Alliance Francaise du Bengale, concluded their six-day visit to Nagaland on Wednesday.The delegation held high-level meetings for collaborations in culinary, culture & traditions, tourism & hospitality, sports & preventive medicine, French language and professional development, international media and promotion, corporate and institutional partnerships between French and Nagaland.Addressing a meeting at Chumoukedima, Boudin said their visit was not only to promote French culture but also to link the Naga and French culture and promote Nagaland in France through partnerships and exchanges. He resonated on the similarities between the French and the Nagas and called Nagaland a ‘region of culture’.The visit was an outcome of the Country Partner Business Roundtable held during the Hornbill Festival last year.
