Shimla: Himachal Pradesh chief minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu on Thursday announced a free training and guidance programme for candidates preparing for the recruitment of police constables.The initiative aims to improve employment opportunities for the state’s youth and help aspirants successfully clear the selection process. The programme follows the Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission’s advertisement dated July 9 for the recruitment of 800 constable in the state police. The DGP has been directed to organise training through Armed Police Battalions across the state.The free programme will include written exam coaching, physical efficiency test preparation, recruitment guidance, personality development, discipline training, motivational sessions and mentoring by experienced police officers and trainers.Sukhu said the initiative would ensure equal opportunities for candidates, especially those from rural, remote and tribal areas.
