Rajkot: The Jamjodhpur police in Jamnagar district arrested a 46-year-old man following allegations of raping his minor daughter repeatedly for three years.The case came to light on June 14, 2026, when the girl, now 18, filed a complaint at the Jamjodhpur police station.According to the survivor’s complaint, she was allegedly abused at both their residence and their family farm whenever other family members were not present. She detailed that the cycle of abuse began during the monsoon season three years ago, when her father first attempted to rape her while she was sleeping.The girl’s statement was recorded before the magistrate.Preliminary investigation suggests the accused is a farmer who owns agricultural land. He also has a son.The accused was produced before the court on June 16, 2026, which sent him in judicial custody.
